Why you should engage children during this time of social distancing?

The Coronavirus pandemic situation has definitely disrupted the daily routine of many families. With most parents working from home, schools and daycares closed down and with no peers to play with, kids are left with not much to do. So most kids are either glued to TV screens or playing games on their smartphones. This is not healthy and can be bad for their overall wellbeing. They might also struggle to adapt when normalcy is restored.

During this lockdown period, children should be engaged in more off-screen activities than on-screen. Engage children in board games and other activities that will express their creativity and talents. Allow kids to participate in cooking activities to understand the value of food and the effort that goes into preparing it. Engaging kids in cooking can also help them get a better understanding of the ingredients that goes into a dish, the nutrition value that goes into it, the calories, and more importantly the lesson of not wasting food.

Complications of Abdominal Wall Hernia

Hernia correction surgery is one of the common surgeries performed these days. They happen by thousands every year throughout India. Despite this many do not perform Hernia surgery due to reasons like fearing a surgery, postponing the surgery for many reasons like financial shortage, poor diagnosis (happens mostly in rare hernia cases), etc. However it may be noted that not getting your Hernia treated surgically can lead to other complications which are sometimes life threatening too. http://www.springfieldwellnesscentre.com/complications-abdominal-wall-hernia/

Symptoms of Ulcer

Symptoms of Ulcer Every ailment has a moderate start and peptic ulcers are no exception to the rule. 90% of the people present themselves to the doctor only after complaining of pain. A sense of bloating (gaseous abdomen)  a sense of feeling full even after having very  small amount of meal (a condition referred as  early satiety ), a general feeling of loss of appetite, burping often and feeling nause...
